The movie “The Road Warrior” taught me the following things about how life will be in the future:

1. There will be a shortage of fuel but a surplus of buttless pants.
2. Crazy S&M gangs will prey on helpless Australians who shop for clothing in 2nd hand sporting goods stores.
3. Boomerangs are sharp.  Very sharp.
4. Fricassee of Snake is better than canned dog food.
5. If you turn a lawnmower upside down, you can make a flying machine.
6. Unless you’re Robin Hood, it’s hard to look tough with a bow and arrow.
7. You really, really should keep all arms and legs inside the vehicle while the ride is in motion.
8. Shoulder pads are THE fashion statement.
