This is actually an old bit that I’m revisting. Ready.gov has a series of helpful and confusing brochures and fliers on what to do in a variety of situations ranging from terrorist attacks to flooding. The pictograms on the fliers are similar to those ridiculous airplane safety cards. The idea came to me when I found I could make people laugh by recaptioning the safety cards decades ago. “Safety First” will be a new look at Ready.org’s helpful nonsense as well as some useful information regarding flying safety.
