The first line contained sporting references: Detroit Red Wings, Boston Red Sox (stockings), and the Cincinatti Reds (wearing nothing; reds being used as a noun not an adjective). The second line was referring to when one is angry they often "see red". The first clue was a reference to The Shining which Alexander got (Redrum). Well done.
