Lol that the last-minute riddle status (due to schvin’s guess) results in “no rhyming.”

(Meanwhile, the feeling of cluelessness with which I have been consistently faced upon reading your riddles does not seem boosting to my ego…. I like watching other people guess though lol.)

That’s close enough, Alexander. The answer was “red”.

The first line contained sporting references: Detroit Red Wings, Boston Red Sox (stockings), and the Cincinatti Reds (wearing nothing; reds being used as a noun not an adjective). The second line was referring to when one is angry they often “see red”. The first clue was a reference to The Shining which Alexander got (Redrum).

Well done.

Rhymes return for the next riddle in two days.

I wasn’t sure how to explain the second line (“red cloth for a bull”?), so I hadn’t written an extended answer.
